Each series is intended for a specific audience:
1. Citizens: The longest of the series, this video is intended for a more general audience. Scientists explain how trees provide benefits in great detail and citizens speak on a more personal level about how trees have improved their lives. To obtain a copy of this longer video, click here. 2. Community Advocates: This video expands the understanding about how trees impact property values, save energy, and make communities more livable. It is intended to better inform those who have a voice in the community and who can speak for the trees. Click here to view. (6 minutes)
3. Decision Makers: This very short video feature helps those in decision making positions better understand the benefits our trees provide so they can make informed arguments related to tree care. Click here to view. (2 minutes)
Limited copies of "Community Trees: A Living Investment" are available. The DVD contains the 20-minute version that has not been posted on the internet. Please contact the U.S. Forest Service, Morgantown Field Office at (304) 285-1527 to obtain a copy.
