Some activities on your forest land may bring in revenue and some may not. Financial assistance is often available to reimburse you for some of the costs. This assistance is usually in the form of income and property tax incentives or cost-share program payments. The participation requirements and priorities vary by state. The availability of incentives often changes. Contact your State Forestry office or your Forest Stewardship plan preparer for up-to-date advice on any of the incentives.
