Habit:
Rounded with a slightly open crown.
Flowers/fruit: One inch white, globular
flowers occur in midsummer, green nutlets ripen during late summer in place of
the flowers.
Description: A plant adapted to wet sites and naturalized
areas, valued for its late summer flowers, will not tolerate dry sites.
