The FY2012 Northeastern Area State and Private Forestry (S&PF) Competitive Allocation Request for Proposals

This competitive allocation process is a significant way that the Northeastern Area (NA) is helping State Forestry agencies achieve priorities as documented in their respective state-wide forest resource strategies while at the same time meeting regional and national priorities of the US Forest Service. In FY2012, State Forestry agencies are eligible to submit or authorize proposals for consideration under this competition. Organizations interested in working on priority issues within their state should familiarize themselves with their state-wide forest resource strategy, and supporting information in the state-wide assessment, and consult with their State Forester or appropriate staff on proposal development

Proposals are due by the close of business on December 15, 2011 from State Foresters. Partners that submit through their State Forester should coordinate submissions with the State Forester's office to allow adequate time for review. Proposals should be submitted in PDF format to the proposal submission e-mail in-box.
