Black Chokeberry
Size: 7'H x 5'W.
Hardiness: zone 4 to 7.
Habit: Broad, rounded, spreading shrub that will colonize if allowed.
Flowers/fruit: White clusters (corymbs) 6" to 8" wide appear in spring, large, heavy clusters of black fruit appear in late summer and are eaten by birds.
Description: An "all-season" plant with glossy green foliage, beautiful flowers, attractIIe fruit, and a bronzy red fall color. Hardier than A. arbutifolia and tolerant of poor soils.
