Korean Barberry
Size: 5'H x 6'W.
Hardiness: zone 4 to 8.
Habit: Compact, ovate, slightly spreading, thorns.
Flowers/fruit: Drooping yellow clusters (racemes) 3" to 4" long, appear in spring. Bright red, ¼" oblong berries appear in clusters 3" to 4" long and often persist into the winter.
Description: The most attractIIe barberry in flower. Deep red fall color persists late into the season. Plants tolerate light shade, and adapt to a wide range of soil pH.
