HABIT:
Broadly ovate to globose.
FOLIAGE: Pinnately compound, 1½" to 3"
feathery blue-green leaflets appearing bluish in spring and turning yellow in
fall.
DESCRIPTION: Tolerant of drought, heat, pollution, and alkaline
soils. Bright yellow flower spikes appear in midsummer when few other trees are
flowering. Excellent lawn specimen and also street tree. Abundant seed pods may
result in seedlings in fertile soil.
